This is a piece that had been out of my hands for about a little while now. It was commissioned back in August. The box was given to me to burn the cd cover of Count Cain from the manga Godchild. Since the wood was pine and smokes like crazy it took me a while to burn through it all due to ventilation problems. Anyways, the image is only the box top since the rest of the box was stained a red oak I decided to leave that part out. I also decided to actually show some of the steps. Mainly burn, stain, and more stain lol, but whatever. And that's my rant.

If you get a carving saber blade for your woodburning pen, it'll give you fine lines with no sap and little smoke.

It's the blade that looks like an xacto knife, they run $5 for a 2-pack at michaels.
